About Us
Each member of your Foos Financial advisory team will work closely with you by using his or her individual skills to bring together a plan that fits your life style. We then build upon our relationship with continued service. All our financial consulting programs include 1 year of ongoing counseling and education about the financial world and its changing landscape to help guide you through unfamiliar terrain.
Brad Foos CLU,ChFC,CPA* is the Owner and Lead Counselor of Foos Financial Group (FFG). He specializes in working closely with FFG’s clients to develop a personal relationship built on trust. Brad leads all consulting meetings and uses his 25 years of financial planning experience to educate and counsel our clients on how to reduce their worries associated with money. Having graduated with honors from the University of Denver’s accounting program in 1985, Brad spent just two years in public accounting before striking out on his own, founding FFG in 1987. Since then, Brad has guided Foos Financial Group to continually develop and implement innovative planning techniques to better serve our clients. He is a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc. Brad lives in Denver with his wife Karen and daughter Maggie, with whom he participates in Tae Kwon Do (by all accounts an interesting sight) and piano lessons on a weekly basis. He is currently the president of ChristAid, Inc. and has served on the board of directors for several non-profit organizations in Colorado. In 2010, Brad spent three weeks in Africa, setting up micro-businesses for the villagers of Kachuna, Uganda.

He is a Registered Representative with NFP Securities, Inc. and holds FINRA Series 6 (Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative), 7 (General Securities Representative), and 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam) Securities licenses. Chuck Read serves as the Financial Services Specialist at Foos Financial Group, and is the main point of contact for all clients engaged in our planning programs. Chuck’s warm personality and extensive knowledge of financial services help our clients smoothly progress through the planning process – before, during, and after all consulting meetings. Chuck graduated from New Mexico State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Finance. Chuck grew up in New Mexico and has lived in Colorado for the past 9 years. Aside from cooking a gourmet meal or enjoying a fine glass of wine, Chuck enjoys fine-tuning his golf game on any of Colorado’s beautiful courses (and can easily claim the title of “FFG’s Best Golfer”). He lives in Broomfield with his wife Gretchen, and has one son Corey, who lives in the Dallas area.
Cindy Yourtz is the Client Implementation Manager at Foos Financial Group. As the most tenured member of our team, Cindy’s many years of service in the financial industry help her simplify the complex paperwork necessary in our business. When it’s time for “the rubber to hit the road”, Cindy will take charge to help ensure that all client approved recommendations and strategies are fully implemented and any service requests are handled in a timely manner. Cindy and her husband David live in Highlands Ranch, and own a successful jewelry store. They have two sons, Ryan and Adam. Outside of work, Cindy can be found walking her dog, Buddy, or sampling the cuisine at a new local restaurant.
Michelle Chaffin has served as the bookkeeper for Foos Financial Group since 2003. Her outgoing personality and multitude of skillsets make Michelle an invaluable part of our company. Whether the task is a corporate budget or researching charities, Michelle is always willing to help. Michelle lives in Centennial with her husband Dave and two young children, Tyler and Jamie. When not managing projects for Foos Financial Group, Michelle keeps active with her many volunteer commitments: PTCO treasurer, raising money for Alzheimer's research with AWARE, and volunteering at the Denver Dumb Friends League.
